Home & Chores
The robots that do daily physical work around the house. Today that mostly means floors: vacuum-and-mop robots are mature, affordable and genuinely useful — if you match them to your floors and keep them out of trouble.
If your floors are mostly hard and you want mopping handled, a self-emptying robot with a hot-wash mop dock in the $500–$800 range does the job. If your home is carpet-heavy with pets, spend on suction and brush design and keep your upright vacuum. If you have thick rugs, mop-lift height matters more than anything on the box.

Powered exoskeletons: a new category, honestly framed
Consumer hip exoskeletons like Hypershell's add motor assistance when you walk or climb. They are sold as hiking and fitness gear. Hypershell's own support page says its products are not FDA-approved and not medical devices, and it doesn't recommend medical use.
That distinction matters: clinical exoskeletons used in rehabilitation are prescribed, fitted and supervised. We don't recommend those to consumers, and we don't present fitness exoskeletons as mobility aids. If you're considering one for balance, weakness or recovery, talk to a clinician first.
